Sculptra

At Hampton Clinic, we offer Sculptra® treatment in Solihull to help restore facial volume, improve skin quality, and stimulate your body’s own collagen production for long-lasting, natural-looking rejuvenation.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that simply replace lost volume, Sculptra gradually stimulates collagen production deep within the skin, helping to restore facial structure and improve skin firmness over time. The result is a fresher, more youthful appearance that develops naturally and can last for up to two years or more.

What is Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable collagen stimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance that has been safely used in medicine for many years. As we age, collagen levels decline, leading to volume loss, skin laxity, hollow areas and deeper lines. Sculptra works by encouraging your body to rebuild its own collagen — helping to restore facial volume, improve skin firmness and elasticity, soften wrinkles and folds, improve skin quality and texture, and support long-term anti-ageing results.

Because Sculptra stimulates your own collagen production, results appear gradually over several months, avoiding the “overfilled” appearance that some patients wish to avoid.

Treatment areas

Sculptra is particularly effective for treating age-related volume loss and improving overall facial quality. Common treatment areas include the cheeks, temples, jawline, lower face, and deep lines and folds.

How results develop

Following treatment, the PLLA particles stimulate fibroblast activity within the skin, encouraging the production of new collagen. Over the following weeks and months, collagen gradually rebuilds, helping to increase skin thickness, improve elasticity, restore facial volume and enhance skin quality for long-lasting rejuvenation. The treatment process is progressive, with improvements becoming more noticeable over time.

Sculptra provides subtle, natural-looking improvements rather than an immediate dramatic change. Patients typically notice improved facial fullness, firmer skin, better skin texture, enhanced facial contours and a more youthful appearance. Most patients require a course of treatment, with results developing over approximately 8–12 weeks and continuing to improve for several months. Results can often last up to 24 months or longer.

Sculptra and dermal fillers

Sculptra and dermal fillers work differently and are often used for different goals. Dermal fillers provide immediate volume replacement, while Sculptra stimulates your body to produce its own collagen for gradual, longer-lasting improvement. Sculptra may be ideal if you want natural-looking results, have widespread facial volume loss, prefer gradual rejuvenation, want to improve skin quality as well as volume, or are looking for longer-lasting outcomes. During your consultation, we will assess your concerns and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan.
